Cristina Hart Shares New Single ‘Vanilla’
London-based singer and songwriter Cristina Hart has just released her brand new single Vanilla, a cool electro-pop song taken from her upcoming debut EP, Sell a Dream.
Vanilla is a song about taking a stand against anyone labelling you "too this or too that", something that is quite common and that we shouldn't allow others to tell us who we should be. I am really enjoying her lovely vocals and how they are backed by an upbeat electro-pop production with groovy guitars and a memorable, bass-driven chorus that makes it perfect to dance to. Speaking about the song, Cristina Hart said,
A few years back when I was still very new to the music industry, someone I looked up to heavily implied I was 'too vanilla' to make it in the music industry. I was heartbroken. But instead of feeling sorry for myself, I wrote 'Vanilla'; it was my way of standing up for myself. Be who you are, unapologetically, and don't let people bully you into actions that go against what you believe in.
