Evelyn Cools Shares New Single ‘Soaring’
Following the release of her lovely single Misfit Paradise, New York-based Folk-rock singer-songwriter Evelyn Cools is back with her new EP, Misfit Paradise, which is inspired by songwriters such as Stevie Nicks, Simon & Garfunkel, Lana Del Rey, and Angus & Julia Stone.
One of the stand out tracks off of this project is a gorgeous song titled Soaring and I think you guys will love it too. Soaring has such a warm and intimate atmosphere that feels like a warm embrace and I love how Evelyn perfectly captures the listener's attention to her powerful lyrics and storytelling abilities. Those lush guitar riffs and haunting harmonies are so magical and give me the chills every time I listen to this song. Evelyn's emotive vocal delivery is quite powerful and makes us feel each and every single word she is singing. Another thing that I love about this song is its somewhat sad and melancholic atmosphere which makes it perfect for one of those reflective days home alone. Check it out below!
