Sea Girls Unveil ‘Do You Really Wanna Know?’ Video

Sea Girls, one of the UK’s most exciting new bands, have just shared the official music video for their indie-pop anthem Do You Really Wanna Know?, the latest single to be taken from their upcoming emotionally-charged, deeply personal, hook-laden debut album Open Up Your Head, out on August 14th on Polydor. This is a joyous piece of music with awesome guitar riffs, infectious melodies, bright synth hooks and an overall feel-good and anthemic atmosphere.

The fun-fuelled animated video, directed by world-class animator Francesca de Bassa, takes the band’s own self-isolated photography and brings them to life as kaleidoscopic, animated collages. What starts as an empty canvas soon turns into an absurd world swarming with anthropomorphic characters - a colourful and playful live concert of moving images where the lines between reality and fantasy blur.
