Jay Ebby East, who is straight out of Abbey Road has just dropped a new single ‘In The City Tonight'.

The track which was worked on by Miles Showell at the legendary London studio is already gathering attention globally for the Colchester based rocker. It's a whole new dimension for Jay who also saw success on the back of his previous releases 'On The Other Side' and 'She's Alive With Magic'.

'In The City Tonight' starts exactly how it means to go on; loud and punchy. This is exactly what Jay Ebby East stands for and he is a true rocker at heart. Currently residing in Essex, Jay has drawn influences from some of the rock and roll greats of yesteryear. As a result it is clear to hear his brit pop and indie rock influence whilst almost remaining true to itself.

I actually first found Jay over a year ago and I am impressed to hear just how impressive his vocal performance is on this record. For me, it is Jays best track to date.

Never one to stick to the status quo, Jay has delivered his fans exactly what they needed. A rock and roll track which would not sound out of place in a small indie basement as well as being played out on the Glastonbury main stage. I would not be surprised if this track is still being played out in indie clubs for many years to come.
