A. Johanson Unveils New Single ‘Little Lies’
Dutch 26-year-old producer, singer and songwriter A. Johanson is back with his brand new single Little Lies, the third single and title track of his new EP out today, December 20th!

Little Lies deals about how rumours spread in a community and how they ended up as the truth. As a small-town man, I can completely relate to this as people tend to spread rumours about things they don't know and then we all assume that's what really happened.

A. Johanson's relatable storytelling is quite effortless and is wrapped around folk-tinged melodies packed with groovy guitars and emotive piano keys. I love his haunting vocal delivery that is packed with so much emotion that makes it impossible not to fall in love with the song.
Speaking about the song, A. Johanson said,
Little Lies is about rumours which spread unnoticed among people in a community. Before you know those rumours end up as the truth. I wrote this song when someone in my surroundings did not survive a car crash. Immediately rumours were spreading about how the accident could happen, even though no one actually knew. This is translated into the build-up of the song. Different sounds and instruments grow bigger together, as do the Little Lies. And of course, the lyrics tell the story.

The Little Lies EP is a beautiful 4-track project that includes the previously released, melancholic-driven Oktober, the guitar-driven Weight in the World and the new songs Little Lies and Forever 27. The EP tells stories in which A. Johanson has dealt with in harder times in life and is packed with touches of melancholia and beautiful melodies. One can feel the honest and raw emotion of his storytelling that is enhanced by the organic instrumentation. Check it out below!
