Ay Wings Unveils Captivating Video For New Single ‘Fortunes’
Swiss singer and songwriter Ay Wing has just shared a beautiful video for her latest single Fortunes. The song itself draws inspiration from Romeo and Juliet’s “Fortune's Fool,” paying homage in the form of modern, romantic relationships and the difficulties that come from them as a result. I am in love with her powerful vocals and the guitar solo is stunning!! There is a nostalgic and emotional touch in this song that makes it even more captivating which is why I keep coming back to it over and over again.

Now, to accompany this lovely song, Ay Wings has shared a live video which was recorded in the heart of the Swiss mountains, atop a pontoon in Lake Seelisberg. Ay Wing collaborated with a handful of visual and audio artists to create and record the live music video where night slowly turns into day. They only had one shot, within 10 minutes, to capture this change between night and day and it paid off. There is something magical and ethereal about the video and that moment when dark turns to light, enhancing the emotional and magical atmosphere of the song. Check it out below!

Speaking about the video, Ay said,
When Andri [our audio engineer], ran the cables through the water, I got a bit scared and thought, hopefully nothing goes wrong and we come out of this session alive.
Filmaker Steve Glashier added,
There were roughly ten minutes to capture the subtle, ethereal metamorphosis from dawn into daybreak. The entire crew had to be quick.
