Nominations announced for The Ivors 2017
Hey guys! The nominations for this year's 62nd Ivor Novello Awards (The Ivors) have been announced. The ceremony will take place on Thursday May 18th at the Grosvenor House, Park Lane, London.

The Ivors celebrate, honour and reward excellence in songwriting and composing.  Created by BASCA [British Academy of Songwriters, Composers and Authors] in 1956, they are named in honour of Ivor Novello, Britain’s most successful and distinguished theatrical composer at the time, and represent the pinnacle of musical achievement and peer recognition in the music industry.

The categories announced include Best Song Musically and Lyrically, Best Contemporary Song, Album Award, Best Original Film Score and Best Television Soundtrack, as well as PRS for Music Most Performed Work, which is sponsored and compiled by The Ivors sponsor PRS for Music.
