Cade Hoppe Unveils New Single ‘Flatearther’
CaesarLiveNLoud
New York-based singer, songwriter, producer and multi-instrumentalist Cade Hoppe has just released his brand new single Flatearther, a dreamy and hazy indie-folk song.
Out now via ARCADE SOUND, Flatearther follows the release of Still Turn This Around and Lake Michigan, and the upbeat Crashland, and finds the talented artist exploring denial and self-deception through the surreal idea of believing something despite overwhelming evidence to the contrary. It's a sharp song about facing facts you'd rather not and realising the world you believed in was round all along. A message that is beautifully conveyed through Hoppe's smooth, enchanting vocals which are accompanied by lush guitar riffs, steady drum beats, hazy atmospherics and textures that make this quite a warm and enthralling listening experience.
Flatearther is the latest single to be taken from Hoppe’s forthcoming album, Safer at a Distance and you can check it out below!
Speaking about the song, Cade Hoppe said,
Sometimes you want so badly for something to be true that you ignore the overwhelming evidence that disproves it. You might sail around the entire earth and still believe it’s flat, simply because you want to.
