Boys Go To Jupiter Unveil New Single ‘Just So You Know’

Indie-pop band Boys Go To Jupiter, made up of Jess Kantorowitz on lead vocals, Caleb Martin-Rosenthal on keys, and Luke Volkert on guitar, have just unveiled their brand new single Just So You Know, an upbeat indie-pop/rock song about social anxiety and the feeling of being trapped in one’s own body.

Out now on High Rotation Records, Just So You Know is an anthem for all those who struggle with social anxiety (myself included), with its infectious energy giving us that boost of confidence to go out and socialise. I am really enjoying Jess Kantorowitz's rich, expressive vocals and how they soar passionately over the upbeat production, effortlessly capturing my attention from start to finish. Accompanying her vocals we have fuzzy guitar strums, killer bass touches, punchy drum patterns, infectious melodies, catchy rhythms and an anthemic chorus that come together to create an overall high-energy and uplifting listening experience.

Speaking of the track, the band say,
We have collectively often felt that we missed the lesson in school where you learn how to effortlessly strike up conversations in a new environment and charm everyone you meet. While many genuinely seem to be born with the gift of gab, we think the majority of people have often felt that they are on the outside looking in. The worst part about this feeling is that you may know you have it within yourself to be cool, interesting, charming, etc., but you freeze up, and just can’t seem to break down that barrier. If only people could take the time to get to know you, you could show them how incredible you truly are. We hope that “Just So You Know” can be an anthem for the less gab-gifted people: a song you can use to hype yourself up on your way to your friend’s friend’s birthday party.
