Canadian singer and songwriter TEHYA has just shared her brand new single Pick Up, a high-energy alt-pop/rock song about recognising that one person you can always count on. 
 
The follow up to her upbeat indie-pop Burn for Me and the emotional Love Overdose, Pick Up finds the talented artist gifiting us with a bigger sound and even bigger emotions. Pick up is a song about reflecting on the person who has been there all along, and who will pick us up no matter what time, who chooses us when we choose our mistakes. 
 
A heartfelt and emotionally-charged song that is flawlessly conveyed through TEHYA's gorgeous vocals which glide passionately over the upbeat production. ‘Pick Up’ is about that one person you know you can call no matter what. My dad always told me growing up, ‘people come and go, but family doesn’t.’ I never really understood that until I got older, cause making friends was never difficult for me, but having them stick around was. So in a way, this song is for the people who have stayed, and that person you can depend on most.
