Sorrycarlee, the alias of American singer and songwriter Carlee Chappell, has just shared her brand new single Intimacy, a heartfelt pop song about wanting someone to pull you in while you're pushing them away. 

 

Out now via Zielschmerz Records, Intimacy is a relatable song about fear of intimacy and feeling unworthy of love, struggling to let someone get close because they expect to be abandoned or hurt. It's wanting to be vulnerable but not knowing why; the self-sabotage of someone who is struggling between wanting deep connection and being terrified of what vulnerability might cost. A very relatable song that is beautifully conveyed through sorrycarlee's rich, heartfelt vocals which are accompanied by lush strings, intricate guitar plucks, subtle piano keys and rhythms that come together to create an overall warm, intimate listening experience.
