Ira Ellison Releases New Single ‘Call Sign’

American artist Ira Ellison shares his sophomore single Call Sign, a smooth, melancholia-infused indie-folk song. 

 

The follow up to his sun-soaked gem Ransom, Call Sign is a reflective and bittersweet song about the near misses of love and the thoughts that linger all the way home. It also highlights thinking about being alone whilst at the same time fearing getting what you want. A vulnerable and honest song that is beautifully conveyed through Ellison's smooth, enchanting vocals which glide nonchalantly over the warm and intimate production. Accompanying his vocals we have gentle guitar plucks, steady drum beats and brass touches that come together to create an overall intimate and soothing listening experience packed with raw, honest emotion.
