Allison Leah Shares New Single ‘Roses’

New York-born and Nashville based singer and songwriter Allison Leah has just shared her brand new single Roses, a warm and intimate indie-pop/folk gem.

The second single to be taken from her upcoming EP Mirror (out this fall/autumn) following May's delicate I Didn't Know I Was Growing Up, Roses is a tender love letter to someone who broke down all of one's walls by being genuine and consistent. It's a warm and delicate song about finally feeling safe enough to let someone in and discovering that you were always worthy of that kind of love. A beautiful and relatable love song that is flawlessly conveyed through Leah's gorgeous, emotionally-charged vocals which glide effortlessly over a warm and captivating indie-pop production. Accompanying her vocals we have intricate guitar plucks which are nicely intertwined with subtle strings, steady drum patterns and rhythms that come together to create an overall warm, heartfelt listening experience.

Speaking about the song, Allison Leah said,
I used to think my relationship was too good to be true, but sometimes love really is as beautiful as it seems. Once I wrote the lyric, "Thought I had rose-colored glasses on, but you're made of real roses," I knew we were creating something special. Roses is a warm indie-pop song with folk elements, built with rubber bridge guitars, dreamy harmonies, and a slow build. It’s the second single off of my upcoming EP, “Mirror” (fall 2026), a collection of five songs exploring reflections, youth, love, and identity. Each track acts as a different kind of mirror; this one is the “emotional mirror”, reflecting the healing that comes from being seen and loved as you are.
