PS Joey Unveils New Single ‘Choosing Me’

Creole-born, Georgia-rooted singer, songwriter, and Army veteran PS Joey has just unveiled his brand new single Choosing Me, a symphonic alt pop/R&B record. 

 

What I like the most about this song is PS Joey's soulful, emotionally-charged vocals and how passionately they soar over the retro-soul-infused production. The second song on PS Joey's sophomore EP The Peace, releasing end of July 2026, Choosing Me is a song of reclamation, about finally deciding to choose yourself after giving too much to the wrong person or situation. A relatable storytelling that pairs PS Joey's stunning vocals with symphonic strings nicely intertwined with steady beats, lush backing vocals, rich rhythms and textures that cmoe together to create an overall cinematic and celebratory listening experience.
