Freedust Share New Single ‘Home’

Freedust, the project led by dynamic Italian composer Daniele Carmosino and Swedish singer Lisa Widmark, have just shared their brand new single Home, a warm and soulful piece of music out now via Danca.

Taken from their fourth studio album Voyager, out now, Home finds the artists teaming up with vocalist Ni'elle, whose lush, soulful vocals glide effortlessly over the slow-burn soul, lush production. This is an atmospheric, grounding anthem about belonging, roots and the comfort of returning to a place that has stayed familiar even as everything else changes. A nostalgic track about the deep connection one has with the place that shaped them. Accompanying those gorgeous Vocals and dreamy harmonies we have steady rhythms nicely paired with lush guitar plucks, cinematic strings, smooth drums and rich textures that come together to create an overall warm, soulful listening experience perfect for a laid-back weekend.

Speaking about the song, Freedust said,
"Home" opens the record and sets the tone. It's the most atmospheric thing on the album — lush, slow-burning downtempo soul with LA vocalist Ni'elle out front. If you live anywhere near Air, Zero 7, Sade, or that retro-futuristic late-90s/early-00s electronic soul, this is squarely your lane.
