Mothers Favorite Child, the project of American artist Paris Toon, has teamed up with rising South African soul vocalist Zee Dyasi to deliver their brand new single Vacation, a Neo-Soul-infused piece of Contemporary R&B music.
Zee Dyasi's first global release, Vacation was written and produced by Mothers Favorite Child and finds the artists gifting us with a soulful and warm listening experience that beautifully showcases Zee Dyasi's rich and passionate vocals. Her delivery is controlled and expressive, carrying both restraint and feeling, which gives the record its emotional weight without overstatement. Apart from her gorgeous vocals I am very fond of the live instrumentation that pairs Rhodes keys with steady basslines, subtle beats, lush guitar plucks and grooves that come together to create an emotional and comforting listening experience.
