Fright Years Share New Single ‘Never Been Wrong’

British band Fright Years are back with their brand new single Never Been Wrong, an infectious indie-pop/rock cut that marks the next chapter for the band. 

 

Never Been Wrong finds the band expanding their sound with confidence. Co-produced by Frontwoman Juliette Kelly and Glasgow producer Ross Hamilton, Never Been Wrong is rooted in a deceptively simple but deeply resonant idea: that even your mistakes were guiding you somewhere necessary. It shows one revisiting an old relationship, not with bitterness, but with the kind of hard-won clarity that only distance can offer. A bold and liberating track about trusting your instincts, leaving without looking back, and never being more certain of anything in your life. 

 

A relatable story that is beautifully conveyed through Juliette Kelly's gorgeous, expressive vocals which glide effortlessly over the memorable production. Apart from her vocals I am particularly fond of the infectious groove nicely intertwined with melodic hooks, lush synths, killer guitar riffs and steady drum beats that come together to create a warm and passionate listening experience.
