Jordan Anthony Unveils New Single ‘Wrong Impression’

Australian-born, Los Angeles-based pop singer and songwriter Jordan Anthony has just unveiled his brand new single Wrong Impression, a heartfelt song about the emotional aftermath of his first real breakup.

Wrong Impression follows his sweeping love song Existing, in collaboration with California-based singer and songwriter Chloé Caroline, and is the final standalone release before Jordan fully transitions into the rollout of his debut EP, expected later in 2026. I adore Jordan Anthony's voice and how passionate and heartfelt his vocal delivery is, effortlessly conveying the raw emotion of his relatable storytelling.

This gem finds the talented artist exploring the disorienting shift from believing someone is your entire world to realising you may have never truly known them at all. It blends heart-wrenching vulnerability with explosive pop production, channelling influences like Benson Boone and Lewis Capaldi. Apart from his gorgeous, emotionally-charged vocals we have lush piano keys nicely intertwined with delicate rhythms, warm synths, punchy drums and soaring guitar riffs that come together to create an overall heartfelt listening experience perfect for an introspective weekend.

Speaking about the song, Jordan Anthony said,
This song is almost like an inner monologue I had with myself after my first breakup. It’s that realization of ‘how did I get this so wrong?’ and how everything can change so fast.
