German singer and songwriter Ina Parker has just unveiled her brand new single The Way We Kissed Goodnight, a warm, guitar-driven folk track. 

 

The Way We Kissed Goodnight is about two people in love who became parents—and suddenly found themselves with little time left for each other. It captures how everyday life creates tension in a relationship, with conversations growing shorter, small frictions emerging, and connection becomes harder to access. In the end it finds the talented artist reflecting on what quietly slips away (shared laughter, long conversations) and holding on to the hope that it can be found again. A relatable storytelling beautifully conveyed through Parker's rich vocals which are accompanied by a polished production that features fingerpicked guitar and gradually develops into a gently driving arrangement with subtle piano and a light rhythmic layer.
