The Yum Yum Tree Unveil New Single ‘Shine’

Atlanta-based band The Yum Yum Tree share their brand new single Shine, a 90s-infused indie-pop/slack-rock gem. 

 

The first single on the Yum Yum Tree's upcoming album: Turn Down the Noise, due out on April 10th, Shine is a song that captures one's inner struggle between attraction and instability, being torn between the fear of moving forward and fear of standing still. A song about finally embracing emotional risk and feeling deeply over emotional numbness. This relatable storytelling is beautifully conveyed through smooth, expressive vocals which glide nonchalantly over intricate guitar riffs nicely intertwined with steady drum beats, cool bass and an infectious chorus perfect to sing along to.
