No Love For The Middle Child Unveils New Single ‘Ash on the Floor’

Philadelphia-born, Los Angeles–based producer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist No Love For The Middle Child shares his brand new single Ash on the Floor, a dark, introspective alt-pop/rock song out now via Cantora Records.
Ash on the Floor finds the talented artist capturing the moment of reckoning — when denial fades, accountability sets in, and the realisation hits that a relationship has reached its end. It's a song about finally having clarity and accepting that enough is enough; choosing self-respect and closure over empty apologies and broken promises. A relatable storytelling that is beautifully conveyed through his gorgeous, passionate vocals that soar brightly over the upbeat production. Apart from his vocals, I am particularly fond of the propulsive, energetic drums and how they are nicely intertwined with gentle guitar strums that slowly give way to moody, electronic-rhythms and soaring electric guitar riffs that match the raw emotion and passion pouring from his vocals. Ash on the Floor is a song that feels internal and explosive at the same time—confessional, shadowy, and deeply human.
