Barcelona-based noir-rock duo Mona et Toi, formed by French singer-songwriter Alison Manicourt and British-Iranian composer and producer Shervin Hejazi, have just shared their brand new single Nothing Rhymes With Myself, a captivating Alt-Pop/Rock gem with dark undertones. 

 

Taken from their upcoming debut album, Nothing Rhymes With Myself finds the duo capturing a universal sense of doubt and the pain of feeling not good enough. It also highlights the fear of failure, while also reflecting on the experience of growing up in the 2000s — with its unique forms of bullying, comparison, and self-destruction.
