little image Premiere Haunting ‘DEFCON + DOES IT GLOW FOR A CHANGE’ Music Video

Texas‑bred rock trio little image (Jackson Simmons, Troy Bruner, Brandon Walters) have just released the official music video for their latest single DEFCON + DOES IT GLOW FOR A CHANGE.

Taken from their acclaimed sophomore album KILL THE GHOST, DEFCON + DOES IT GLOW FOR A CHANGE is a dreamy and eclectic indie-pop song that beautifully showcases the trio's incredible sonority and talents. I am loving the smooth, delicate vocals and how they glide nonchalantly over the infectious production that features lush, expansive synths with killer rhythms, memorable guitar plucks, subtle piano keys and beats, together creating an overall dreamy, hazy atmosphere. The music video, directed by Sawyer Skipper, was shot in Los Angeles and stars Koki Tomlinson, and embraces a more conceptual, art-forward approach, unfolding as a visual experience designed to capture emotion and atmosphere over performance.

On the video the band said:
Defcon is a song that needs to be experienced rather than explained. Just like the track itself, we wanted the video to be something you really have to sit with to feel. The raw emotion of battling a different version of yourself only felt possible by using a single person in the video. Sawyer Skipper did an incredible job directing and shooting this video to create that energy and make your body feel what you are seeing. Shot in Los Angeles, California and starring Koki Tomlinson, this video was made with a small but mighty crew. Sawyer and Koki rehearsed tirelessly to create the frame to frame matched moments you see throughout the video. This was a very difficult shooting tactic but creates the seamless battle between the two characters you see.
