Jake Thistle Shares New Single ‘Sleep On Me’

American singer and songwriter Jake Thistle has just shared his brand new single Sleep On Me, a delicate, heartfelt indie-folk/rock song. 

 

Out now via Gold'n Retriever Entertainment, Sleep On Me finds the talented artist telling a story about someone feeling stuck between who they are and who they're trying to be for someone else, asking for a second chance to grow into someone worthy of their love. A relatable, heartfelt storytelling that is beautifully conveyed through Thistle's smooth, expressive vocals which glide naturally over steady drum beats nicely intertwined with bass and guitar riffs that together create an overall warm, intimate atmosphere!

Speaking about the song, Jake Thistle said,

Recorded in a beautiful Boston studio, Sleep On Me is a song that highlights late night conversations, mistakes, and the request for a second chance. I wanted to write about a character who knows they can do better — despite the overall shortcomings they face. I recorded it with a live band, so I’m excited about the way the song breathes and flows with the talent musicians featured on the track, including Max Clilverd on guitar, Toby Couling on drums, and Max Goff on bass-- all from Tom Odell‘s fantastic rhythm section.
