Luke Potter Releases New Single ‘The Misery’

British musician, singer, songwriter and producer Luke Potter is back with his brand new single The Misery, a vulnerable, emotionally-charged song wrapped around an upbeat folk-pop production.

Out now via Breaking The Ceiling Records, The Misery is the latest single from Luke Potter, following on from 5 solo singles and an EP in 2025, and finds the talented artist singing about a relationship that looked perfect from the outside but was quietly falling apart. It reflects on the feelings that carry over when this long relationship ends and all the questions and doubts appear, realising one's own role in the breakup and understanding that leaving was necessary for healing and growth.

A very personal song for the artist, finding him showing vulnerability and pouring his heart out over an upbeat folk-pop production. I am really enjoying the tone of his voice and how passionate and heartfelt his vocal delivery is, gliding beautifully over intricate acoustic guitar melodies that are joined by lush strings and steady beats, culminating into an infectious chorus perfect to sing along to.

In Luke’s own words,
Last Christmas I posted a picture of myself and my wife looking like we owned the world. Three months later we were no longer together.
