REIGNS Unveils Soul-Drenched Breakup Anthem ‘Never Be Forgotten’

British Soul-drenched powerhouse REIGNS shares her most visceral offering yet with Never Be Forgotten, a heartfelt song that is equal parts confession and confrontation.

Never Be Forgotten finds the talented artist stripping the end of a relationship down to its sharpest edge: regret, rage, and the stubborn ache that won't quit. Co-written with Dee Adam and Roland Kiss, Never Be Forgotten captures the precise moment love becomes something you have to lay to rest — vulnerable but defiant, bruised but not broken. A song built on gritty, emotive production that backs REIGNS's heartfelt, powerhouse vocals that only soften on reflection of what is about to be mourned. With this song REIGNS turns the death of love into anthemic pain, acknowledging blame while holding the other half accountable. The song culminates in a plea that's more demand than wish: keep the memories close, even if love is over.

Speaking about the song, REIGNS said,
We wrote this song about reaching that point where you know a passionate but failed relationship needs to be laid to rest. It almost felt easier to hold on to the weight of it than to truly move on—and I think we've all been there at some point. I wanted to give the relationship a kind of theatrical send-off, which is why we chose to shoot in black and white. The cliffs and the raging sea mirrored the storm of emotions I was feeling at the time. In many ways, that chapter of my life ended there, and from it came 'Never Be Forgotten'.

The accompanying black and white visual, shot against dramatic cliffs and raging seas, provides the theatrical send-off this relationship deserved, capturing the raw emotional storm at the heart of the song.
