we are ALVA, the project of German artists Jan & Jannike, share their brand new single light, their most intimate release to date! 

 

Taken from their debut album Proud Snail!, light finds the talented artists inviting listeners into a world of quiet strength and emotional clarity. Written in a single flow of inspiration, light beautifully showcases Jannike's dreamy, emotional vocals which glide effortlessly over the hauntingly beautiful piano-based arrangement. Enhancing the raw emotion of their storytelling we also have a memorable string quartet which is nicely intertwined with delicately crafted, self-sampled drum textures that come together to create a warm and intimate atmosphere that explores the power of inner radiance, the choice to let go of emotional heaviness, and the transformative energy of joy without conditions.
