I wrote this song after I was away on a writing trip and a friend called me during a session break to tell me that he was feeling down and lonely. I took that as inspiration to write a summer song celebrating friendship. Perfect for blasting in the car with your friends, “Long Run” emphasizes the importance of keeping your friends close and appreciating the people you can rely on.
