Canadian synth/dream-pop project A Days Wait have teamed up with American synth-pop artist Color Theory to deliver their brand new single Empty Promises. 

 

Out now on Fall Back Plan Record, Empty Promises is a bright, synthpop track that captures the bittersweet feeling of stepping into adulthood while still clinging to old habits and to someone you're trying hard not to lose. It's a song about realising we can't move forward if we keep drifting apart. An admission that growing up is messy and scary. A relatable storytelling beautifully conveyed through those expressive vocals which glide over bright, shimmering synths and steady beats that together create an overall warm atmosphere perfect for a laid-back weekend!
