HAERTS Share New Single ‘Woman On The Line’ ft. Jenn Wasner

HAERTS, the creative union of singer/songwriter Nini Fabi and multi-instrumentalist/composer Ben Gebert, share their brand new single Woman On The Line, a heartfelt piano ballad with Jenn Wasner of Flock of Dimes. 

 

Taken from their upcoming fourth studio album Laguna Road, which will be out on October 3rd, Woman On The Line is a powerful, heart-on-the-sleeve piece of music about a woman grappling with inner emptiness and the pressure to appear "fine". She puts on a brave face but beneath the surface she's dealing with pain, disappointment, and the weight of unmet expectations. A heartfelt piece of music that is flawlessly conveyed through Nini Fabi's emotionally-charged vocals and harmonies that are accompanied by a heart-stirring piano-based melody, subtle rhythms and cinematic strings that come together to create an overall melancholic atmosphere perfect for an introspective day alone.

Speaking about the song, Nini Fabi explains:

The song is about taking ownership of my story and the choices that shaped me as a woman. It’s about the distance between how things look and how they feel—the pressure to keep it together while inside your world is coming apart. It’s about isolation, acceptance, and the fragile nature of truth, and it came from a moment when I let it all fall apart.
