Bird Shares New Single ‘Sunny Days’

Bird, the moniker of British/Irish singer and songwriter Janie Price shares her brand new single Sunny Days, a rich blend of Folk and Americana out now via Pop Fiction Records. 

 

The last single to be taken from her new EP Head or Tales (out now), Sunny Days finds the talented artist reflecting on how joyful memories have been tainted by heartbreak and painful words; with the sun, once being a symbol of love, now bribnging reminders of loss and regret. A relatable storytelling flawlessly conveyed through Bird's rich, expressive vocals which captured my attention from start to finish. You can really feel the raw emotion pouring from her delivery and how it is wrapped around intricate banjo and guitar riffs nicely intertwined with steady drum beats, lush, cinematic strings and a memorable cello solo (played by Bird herself) that come together to create an overall warm, intimate atmosphere with a memorable dose of melancholia.
