Mothé Shares New Single ‘Claw’

Mothé, the moniker of American up-and-coming non-binary artist Spencer Fort, has just shared their new single Claw, a captivating piece of electro-pop music out now via DVG Records! 

 

Previously known for their more introspective pop songs with catchy hooks, Mothé is taking their new sound outside which definitely won me over right from the start. I am particularly fond of how confident and passionate their delivery is, soaring effortlessly over the vibrant electronic production. The first single to be taken from their upcoming album Total Popstar, Claw finds the talented artist expressiving a deep craving to be fully consumed and dominated by someone else's love. Mothé clumsily describes being in the middle of a sweaty dance floor, locked into one person and having sex in public spaces while the uplifted pop beat pulses. Apart from those gorgeous voals and infectious beats, I am particularly fond of the thumping bass and lush synth textures that make this quite a memorable listening experience packed with energy, passion and confidence!
