Malia Rogers Shares New Single ‘Indefinitely’

Ottawa-based singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Malia Rogers shares her brand new single Indefinitely, the latest single to be taken from her debut EP, Chameleon, which is out now! 

 

Indefinitely is a heartfelt love song that finds the talented artist sharing a sweeping meditation on partnership, evolution, and unconditional devotion. I am really enjoying the tone of her voice and how enchanting her delivery is, soaring beautifully over the captivating blend of folk, bluegrass and Celtic traditions. I am particularly fond of the rhythmic acoustic textures which are nicely intertwined with lilting mandolin, melodic strings, and a heartbeat of bodhrán that come together to create an overall warm, comforting atmosphere!

Speaking about the song, Malia Rogers said,

I told my producer Neil Whitford that I wanted it to sound like the tide. There’s ocean imagery in the lyrics, and as a Nova Scotian living away in Ontario, the water makes me feel like I’m home. So does the love this song is written about.
