London-based singer-songwriter and producer BVDHI announces Loser, the latest release from her debut longform project.

BVDHI's crystalline vocals draw listeners to a story of being stuck in a rut, self-doubt and the elusive search for meaning or connection. A relatable storytelling that is beautifully wrapped around a finger-picked R&B guitar line nicely intertwined with a syncopated groove that undulates and builds to reach a head-nodding mid-tempo pocket. Speaking about the creative process for this song, BVDHI said,

I was trying to work on new music but couldn’t find a flow so instead I started looking for distraction. I tried to holla at friends and no one was around. I wanted something to pull me out of a rut and I started to spiral. I was thinking about how creativity has always been a coping strategy for me to escape my life but also how that process of creativity can often leave you stuck when it doesn’t come easy. The thing that’s meant to make you feel better can equally make you feel mad. Then, the tune just came to me – I started singing and playing the piano. I found my escape.
