British singer and songwriter Eli Carvajal shares his brand new single Fear of Love, a beautiful pop/singer-songwriter gem!
His first single of 2025, Fear of Love is taken from his upcoming (5TH) DIY album and finds the talented artist beautifully showcasing his rich, expressive vocals and relatable storytelling abilities. Fear of Love is a breakup single, reflecting on a year with highs and lows, effortlessly conveying the emotional weight of relationships, memories and time passing. A message flawlessly conveyed through Carvajal's gorgeous vocals which are accompanied by intricate guitar riffs, lush synths and cool drums that come together to create an overall warm, somewhat melancholic atmosphere perfect for an introspective day home alone!
Speaking about the song, Eli Carvajal said,
It's a song of two halves. The first came in March 2022, isolated at home in Watford, aching to start a new life in Japan. The second came a year later in Higashikitazawa, Tokyo, surfacing for air after a year afraid. This is a bridge between my last life and this one, my last album and the next. Hydrangeas were harmed. I recorded this in my room in Tokyo using a late-1970s Yamaha synth I found in a dollar store and a drum machine I bought on Mercari (Japanese Craigslist). It's a cry from the heart.
