Darkroom Data Share Dreamy Single ‘First Echo’

Irish indie electro pop duo Darkroom Data, consisting of Irish vocalist Gillian NoVa and Brazilian composer Márcio Paz, have just shared their brand new single First Echo, a hypnotic and dreamy alt-pop song! 

 

First Echo finds the duo addressing themes of loss and longing, capturing the essence of a wish which, held for a long time although never coming to pass, begins in time to feel like a memory. A message that is beautifully conveyed through Gillian NoVa's enchanting, ethereal-like vocals which are accompanied by a minimalistic sonic aesthetic that pairs warm synths with harmonium, creating an overall warm, cinematic soundscape that is quite comforting (somewhat melancholic) and perfect for an introspective day home alone.
