Holly Lovell Shares New Single ‘Lion’s Den’

Denver-based singer-songwriter Holly Lovell shares her brand new single Lion's Den, a heartfelt indie-folk ballad that looks at addiction from the inside. 

 

I am absolutely in love with the song as it is packed with raw, honest emotion and touches of melancholia that instantly gave me the feels. The second single to be taken from her forthcoming album Hello Chelsea, due February 7th 2025, Lion's Den is a song about the struggles of facing personal demons, reflecting feelings of loneliness and trying to cope with one's issues the best way they can. A message flawlessly delivered through Lovell's stunning vocals which radiate so much emotion that is enhanced by the polished indie-folk production. Accompanying her lush vocals we have delicate acoustic guitar strums that are beautifully intertwined with subtle electric guitar plucks and steady drum patterns (courtesy of her younger brother Caleb Lovell) that come together to create an overall warm, melancholic piece of music perfect for introspective days home alone.
