zinha Unveils New Single ‘walls’

UK-based, Portuguese artist zinha (aka Luisa Chumbinho) is back with her brand new single walls, the latest track to be lifted from her upcoming 8-track debut EP ' ☹☺ ', set for release on September 20th via B3SCI Records. 

 

The follow up to her emotive debut single why do u make me wait?, walls finds the talented artist beautifully showcasing her powerful, heartfelt vocals and heart-wrenching storytelling abilities that are guaranteed to give you the feels in no time. walls is a relatable song about the end of a relationship, be it a loving one of a friendship. You can feel the raw emotion pouring from zinha's lovely vocals which is enhanced by the delicate piano keys and warm rhythms that build up in energy with the drums to match her powerful delivery, together create an overall warm, intimate and heartfelt atmosphere.

As she explains about her upcoming single:

We wrote Walls after hearing a small snippet on Josh’s phone of the initial melody and chords. It naturally came together as I sang and he played it with me in the studio. It was all recorded without any metronome - so it’s all live pretty much. A real challenge! Walls is that moment in every relationship, friendship or bond that’s come to an end of its era. It’s the crashing of waves, it’s the rumbling of the under-ground and it’s the sound of the hard rain falling."
