Clay and Kelsy Share New Single ‘Memories of Me’

Dreamy electronic pop duo Clay and Kelsy share their brand new single Memories of Me, the 4th single to be lifted from their upcoming debut EP, I Am.

What I like the most about the song is is somber, melancholia-infused atmosphere that instantly got me in an introspective, yet chill mood while home alone. I am particularly fond of those smooth vocals and dreamy harmonies that soar effortlessly over the indietronica production. Memories of Me highlights the regretful and chaotic process of change in hopes that this dark transition doesn’t crumble identities. While going through times of self-identity and destruction, you start to feel like everything is falling apart. The interplay between organic and synthetic sounds creates a dynamic soundscape, reflecting the inner turmoil and conflict expressed.

A relatable message that is flawlessly delivered through those enchanting vocals that soar over weighty synths which are seamlessly intertwined with moody drums and rhythms. The interplay between organic and synthetic sounds creates a dynamic soundscape, reflecting the inner turmoil and conflict expressed. The overall result is a somber, melancholic atmosphere perfect for those moments alone with my thoughts.

Speaking about the song, Clay and Kelsy said,
This song is an endless loop, a funeral march of one's self. In the ruins of a shattered relationship, one person faces their own destruction. The moments that become memories are sacred spaces in our hearts, fragile and unprotected, ready to burst like a dam. Will you remember me?
