Natalie Clark Drops New Single ‘A Place Called Home’
Los Angeles-basead Scottish singer and songwriter Natalie Clark has just shared her brand new single A Place Called Home, a retro-infused piece of indie-pop music.
Out now via DVG Records, A Place Called Home is the 1st single from her upcoming debut album and finds the talnted artist beautifully showcasing her gorgeous vocals and raw, vulnerable lyrics that echoe the yearning to find our place in the world, a place we can call home. I am a fan of Clark's lush, expressive vocals and how they are effortlessly backed by a synth-based pop production, steady drum patterns and lush guitar riffs that culminate into a highly infectious chorus that enhances the song's message. Check it out below!
Clark says of the song,
I wrote the song when I had moved from Scotland to L.A and hadn’t figured out a place to call home. I was on an adventure of moving country and pursuing my dreams, but with all the excitement and highlights, there’s also some loneliness and wanting to find some security - wanting to to find a Place Called Home.
