Annie Bacon & her Oshen Shares New Single ‘Mist’
Folk-rock Americana singer-songwriter Annie Bacon & her Oshen shares her brand new single Mist, the latest single to be taken from her upcoming 4th album, Storm, out on June 14th.
Mist finds the talented artist urging us to be present in our emotions, even if it feels bad. She has the emotional depth and mesmerizingly ethereal vocal quality of Stevie Nicks or Carly Simon which instantly makes the song a timeless and memorable listening experience. Backing her gorgeous, expressive vocals we have comforting guitar licks seamlessly paired with steady drum patterns and a melodic, infectious chorus perfect to sing along to. The song has such a comforting touch that makes it perfect for a laid-back, introspective day at home during a warm summer day or for a long drive with no destination set. Check it out below!
Speaking about the song, Bacon said,
I was driving when the whole song came to me at once. My kid was sleeping in the back seat. I was trying to imagine what I was looking for in the mist. I put myself in that space. I realized that I was looking for me. I was the one who was lost. How do you come back to yourself when you feel lost in the world? The only way back, is to be where you are in the world at that moment. Even if it's painful.
