Blair Davie Shares New Single ‘Prague’

Scottish singer-songwriter Blair Davie (they/them) returns with their brand new single Prague, a vibrant piano-based gem that sees them deliver some of their rawest and most relatable songwriting so far.

Produced by Daniel Green (Coldplay), Prague is a relatable song about that it doesn't matter where you are in the world as anywhere can feel like home when you are with the one you love. A very romantic song flawlessly conveyed through Blair Davie's gorgeous, heartfelt vocals which exude so much soul and emotion that captured my attention from the get-go. Backing their passionate delivery we have a piano-led production that is nicely intertwined with lush guitar strums and steady drum patterns and synths that build up in energy to match the raw emotion pouring from their vocals.

Adding about the song, Blair said,
Prague is about the realisation that it doesn’t matter where you are, anywhere can feel like home. I wrote it at the start of 2024 when I was beginning to change my approach to songwriting. I wanted to start chasing magic and joy this year and just really embrace the pleasure in writing music. I had been planning a romantic getaway and the most exciting part of that was really just the idea that we could go anywhere!! I felt like there was something thrilling in that and then when I came up with the riff on the piano, the lyric “we could go to Prague” just fell onto my lap and the song wrote itself after that. This song can be the perfect background to your summer, your love stories, friendships and the joy of exploring the world. It’s been amazing to see it connecting with people from all different corners of the globe.
