Mama Tjutju Unveils New Single ‘Try’

Mama Tjutju, the moniker of Danish Singer, songwriter, pianist, composer Lærke Kersten, shares her brand new single Try, an empowering singer-songwriter piece of music taken from her new EP, Stockholm, which is out now. 

 

What I like the most about this song is its warmth and how delicate and expressive her vocals and harmonies are, gliding beautifully over the captivating production. Try is a song about breaking free from objectification as a woman, a hymn to all women out there and their journeys out of the male gaze and into a freer life. I am also very fond of the intricate acoustic guitar-based melodies that, along with her vocals and dreamy harmonies, create an overall warm, intimate atmosphere.
