What I like the most about this song is the sultry, soulful female vocal topline which infuses the song with a touch of emotion and sensuality that is enhanced by the infectious trap-infused beat. Dying On The Vine delves into the universal tale of shattered hopes and heartbreak, sharing a message of resilience and to rise from it stronger. It reminds listeners that even in the darkest of nights, there are echoes of hope. Apart from the vocals and trap-inspired beat, I am really fond of the airy rhythms, subtle brass elements and how the song has a dark edge that really enhances the emotion of the storytelling. This is a great song for a laid-back weekend and for those reflective days home alone.
