Alexander Grandjean Shares New Single ‘Babylon’

Danish singer, songwriter and producer Alexander Grandjean shares his brand new single Babylon, a dreamy folk song out now via Dreamwriters/Omana Music. 

 

The second single to be lifted from Grandjean's forthcoming album, due out this autumn, Babylon is a song about decay in all its forms, about human destruction of the planet and how many of us would wish we could back "where gardens hang like Babylon". 

 

This lovely storytelling is flawlessly conveyed through Alexander Grandjean's smooth, delicate vocals and hauntingly beautiful harmonies that infuse the song with a dreamy and emotional touch that I really like. Apart from those gorgeous vocals and harmonies, I am particularly fond of the intricate acoustic guitar-based melodies seamlessly paired with steady drum patterns, delicate piano keys and subtle brass elements that together create an overall warm and intimate atmosphere perfect for a laid-back weekend.
