JEMS Share New Single ‘Bury It’

Off the heels of their recent hit The Weather, Alternative Folk trio JEMS return with their brand new single Bury It, the latest single to be taken from their upcoming sophomore album, Back Around. 

 

A reflection on being true to oneself and the consequences of repressing pain, Bury It finds the trio urging listeners to cast aside the expectations of others and embrace authenticity. Burying things deep within ourselves rather than confronting it head-on will only lead to future turmoil. This message is beautifully delivered through their lush vocals and harmonies that soar effortlessly over the heartwarming folk/americana production. I am loving the emotive piano keys and how they are seamlessly paired with steady drum patterns and cool rhythms that culminate into a memorable chorus perfect to sing along to.
