New Zealand-born, San Diego-based singer, songwriter, producer and multi-instrumentalist Estella Dawn drops her last single of the year, Ain't Like Me. 

 

Out now via Purplestar Records, Ain't Like Me is a rich, soulful ballad about admitting her love for someone else while also acknowledging her own self- love. This gem finds the talented artist drawing inspiration from the soul style of Amy Winehouse, the piano forward arrangements of Nora Jones, the wit and lyrical acuity of Sara Bareilles, and the vocals of Adele, effortlessly showcasing her versatile talent and on the nose storytelling. I am loving her rich, soulful voice which is so commanding and a pleasure to listen to, soaring beautifully over the live instrumentation. Apart from her vocals, I am particularly fond of the piano arrangements and lush guitar plucks that together create a warm, comforting atmosphere.
