Lola Lennox Shares New Single ‘Dreamer’

British singer, songwriter and musician, Lola Lennox has just shared her brand new single Dreamer, the title track of her highly anticipated debut EP out now via Humble Angel Records. 

 

I am really enjoying Lola Lennox's gorgeous, expressive vocals which instantly draw the listeners into her world of memories and dreams for the future. Dreamer is an uplifting yet contemplative song that looks back on Lola’s younger self and how her dreams have shaped her life over the years. This message is wrapped around a polished pop production that features melancholic chords, shimmering tones and oscillating strings that together create an overall warm, reflective atmosphere. 

 

The accompanying music video for Dreamer, was shot in Los Angeles and directed by Alexis Gudino (Jennifer Lopez, Annie Lennox, Marc Anthony). A homage to how young and innocent aspirations can turn into reality, and how the seed of a dream can bloom, the video opens with Lola singing at the piano. As it evolves, we are invited to look back on memories captured through photographs and home video recordings of Lola’s life, witnessing the chapters of Lola’s years, from dancing in the kitchen as a child in the 90s through to playing her first live shows in her twenties.
