KIDS Share New Single ‘253’
London-based genre-bending outfit KIDS have just released their eagerly-awaited debut EP Love and The City 1, showcased by the sun-kissed new single 253.
Out now via Scruff of the Neck Records, 253 captures more of that fresh and invigorating direction KIDS have looked to establish since they first emerged. I am particularly fond of the heartfelt vocals and honest storytelling which are beautifully accompanied by steady drums and lush, sun-soaked guitar plucks that together create quite a warm, laid-back atmosphere. I am also very fond of the chorus which is perfect to sing along to and how the whole sun oozes chill summer vibes perfect for a fun, carefree weekend. Have a listen to this gem below!

The 253 is a bus which goes from Camden to Hackney. I live in Camden and a friend of mine lives in Hackney. I liked this friend but wasn’t sure if the feeling was mutual. I wrote this song on the 253 whilst thinking about whether to risk our friendship for something more…"
