Pikes Shares New Single ‘Take You Out Dancing’

Following last month's retro-infused indie-pop cut Slime, Pikes, the moniker of Swedish singer, songwriter and producer Christoffer Ling, is back with his brand new single Take You Out Dancing, a bright, shimmering piece of indie/electro-pop music, out now via ART:ERY Music Group. 

 

I am really enjoying his passionate, confident vocals and how they instantly draw the listener's attention to his storytelling. There's also a retro vibe in the song, especially with the bright synths and driving beat, that I really like and the overall energy is quite infectious, instantly getting me in a good mood and ready for a fun weekend. I am also very fond of the subtle guitar lines, steady drum patterns and catchy hooks that together create an uplifting atmosphere that oozes carefree summer vibes with a touch of 80s nostalgia.
